I stopped years ago. I dislike the taste. Probably because i know its been recycled a bunch of times before it reaches my tap. Which means its full of chemicals, heavy metals and pesticides. Steer clear!
Buying bottled water used to be my solution but looking at the damage plastic bottles are doing to our oceans, environment plus to our health. I stopped buying them. Glass bottles i know are also an option but they're heavy to carry and it works out expensive especially as i drink at least 2 litres a day.
Its 32cm high and 13cm diameter. So it sits nicely on my work top with a handy to attach 'hose' to my water tap. There's a flow diverter meaning it remains permanently attached to my tap so I can easily switch between filtered and ordinary tap water.
Note - It should only be used with cold water as hot water damages the filtration process.
The Ultrastream removes bacteria, poisons, chlorine, chloramine, flouride, heavy metals and arsenic. It has scientifically proven technology incorporating 8 layers of filtration. Water is fed through the various layers removing these toxins plus it increases the pH of the water adding magnesium, calcium and hydrogen.
The result: The highest levels of purity, alkalisation, ionisation and molecular hydrogen infusion.
Its the only filtration system to comply with EU safety standards and the best i have found on the market.
Every 3000 litres you should change the filter. Its a screw in replaceable filter giving you a new water alkaliser, filter and ioniser with every filter change.
1 litre of Evian bottled water is 65p (@ 2018)
3000 litres x 0.65p = £1950
Ultrastream water filter = £500 so 1/4 of the price. No plastic bottles so no damage to our health and our environment.
Lets change this:
A million plastic bottles are bought around the world every minute and the number will jump another 20% by 2021, creating an environmental crisis some campaigners predict will be as serious as climate change.
